Starbucks tried to get into the country, but never managed to get a right hold of locations and all. Baresso is the closest thing to it, and also owned by some of my dads acquaintances, but it in itself was a very large gamble which only in recent years has become a success. Coffee here is a much more "homily" thing, were people like to make it and take their time enjoying it. I mean, there are cafés everywhere, where you can sit outside and get a coffee, latte, or beer, but most people do like to sit and enjoy their coffee. Its not as rush rush as the US. Or at least, wasn't. We're getting there now. But, again, most of the café places that already exist also provide "take-away" coffee, like the one next to Blockbuster - Delores. That's where I buy my coffee to bring to work or uni. That's also cuz I get a 10% discount, hee hee.
Aight, that's all from me. I must back to Tolkien and Jackson, and prepare for hell tomorrow.

Toodles!
