sim ramble: In how many places a toddler could draw......

Oct 23, 2008 12:25

... if he didn't have a drawing table?? ... even wondered!???

NOTE: This not a story, not a drabble .. no nothing as such, just spam of a very long, but successful, i think, (at least for me lol) screenshoting day i had yesterday ... It includes a very minor Remix spoiler, but its just too cute to wait until the next update is ready :P

... the lit' toddler could draw on his high chair

or in the floor outside ...

or .... on his walls ... of course ...

(.......butiful.....)

but the best is the chair on the living room, is right his side and very comfortable ....

.... but .. he gets caught there ... all ... the ... time ...

and daddy does NOT like that!!!

uuuuhhhhh .. me's in truble

*** ** **

Now for details, and technical dificulties

its was a lot of
Moveobjects on
boolProp allow45DegreeAngleOfRotation true
boolProp snapObjectsToGrid false
invisible magicsplay
hidden shelves ...
plus the drawig table to get the anmation, crayon and paper, and a few other toys for the other animations too

For the high chair

i tried with the basic eating animation first, just taking the plate out and replacing for paper and crayon, but didn't work for me, so then i tried placing him already drawing using the kiddy table. Its look good from the front, but not so much on the side, as he a bit standing up on the chair. It was aslo very hard to find the right shelf for the height and positioning the tray with Buck, on place without the whole thing getting all stuck. I may give the eating option one more chance still, tho

The floor,

of course didn't need tray or shelves, but i used the logic toy for the animation, just replacing the wood piece with the crayon, so it looks  a bit off on some angles. But my biggest prob there was the floor tile i did on a rush and looks aweful!!  LOL

Painting the walls .... gotta BE painting the walls!!! :D

again no shelves or tray, but i used the doll house for the animation and and some points it just look terrible LOL

but it still has its better moments ... just needs to right angle :P

Lastly ... the chair.

I thought about a coffe table, but can't imagine one at the Grunts, so a spare chair on the dinning room, i thought it woud be the perfect place a toddler would choose to draw .... (my daughter used to do that :P ) . Also the pose/animation works perfect there, but the height didn't match so again i had to use a shelf and the tray. Looking very carefully at his feet ... he's floating!!  LOL

well, that all for now.
Hope to have the update ready soon, but stills needs a lot to be done. It'll be all about the Grunts now  :P
Cheers!!
