i don't think journalism is for me.i want to write children's books. i really like journalism at times, but right now i'm in class and have thrown my first temper tantrum in years because i got assigned a really stupid article on some fucking "Taste Fest" for a charity group in my school. the group raised money in the event to send people to build

i fucking hate the DIFT.
there are already too many semi's in our neighborhood that create the hugest potholes imaginable, and pollute our already tainted air!
urgh.
when will the proposal be passed/hopefully not passed?

a group called the CBRA (Communities for Better Rail Alternatives) has been insturmental in delaying the propsal. the y have also created a revised edition of the proposal which proposes that the Federal Highway Administration modernize and innovate the existing part of Junction Yard---but not expand. i've heard there's up to 50,000 members of CBRA since not only Detroit is a railway city. plus the environmentalists in the burbs are behind us...so , it's kind of unclear as to whether it'll pass or not.
