My mobile phone's dead. I was unfortunate enough to have to walk in the pouring rain today for 15 minutes and got completely drenched. Trying to get beloved VerizonWireless to switch me to the old phone that I luckily haven't thrown away for some reason... Hopefully tomorrow, when a live service rep. can talk to me, they'll figure something out

i went and filled out this form in my profile with the ESN, and it said "Successfully switched to phone. Now dial *228 to complete the programming". When I do that it tells me that it can't do anything with my number...

Кстати, насколько я понимаю, никакой разницы, что ты им скажешь - у тебя же небось не было страховки. А без нее - только скидка на телефон раз в 2 года, независимо от обстоятельств.
