Taking photos at shows is always fun. The lights alone can add so much. When Seraphim Shock played, I tried to time my photos with the strobe light and came up with some cool "double exposures".
yeah, I could lie and say I was trying to take cool shots, but for the most part I just snapped away while dancing and jumping around... lol... I guess if you take enough photos, you're bound to get some cool ones... :)
I love those double exposure shots too... I got a couple at the show. I once got this amazing one of a keyboard player (think it was for some band at the Razor back in the day... ) anyway, he was standing completely still but was moving his head left and right, so the image looks perfectly in focus in the center, but his head has motion-blurred exposures on either side of his head... looked very cool... :)
I hope this will go to your email! I had my internet disconnected a few days ago (along with my home phone) because I never use it.. that is, until I can get something other than dial-up.
Aaaaand, I can't log on myspace at work (it's banned!). I received the package yesterday - Wednesday. Thank you so much! It was an awesome surprise. The dvds look store-bought. That's so crazy! I even watched a few already. A few episodes are really pixelated and they just freeze, well.. mainly just one. The one with Ron Livingston. But whatever! I'm just so glad that you remembered something I had mentioned and put time into it. Not many people pay attention to the important little details. I've watched a few episodes and love them.
And I love the journal I idea. I love the journal itself as well. I'm currently working on contributing to it and I'll have it sent out soon. Thanks so much!!!!!
glad you liked it! the pixelization/freezing is from the fact that I recorded it from OnDemand and the signal sometimes gets wonky... but its free, so I can't complain.
I also responded to what I think is your yahoo mail account... let me know if you get that email or if not, what email i can reach you at instead of myspace.
Can't wait to see what you contribute. Anything goes! :)
