Oh, wow. I really like the way you've done Margo - she feels just exactly right. The fact that Aaron is Jack's nephew being what thaws her, almost carelessly tossing the cell phone in the trash - absolutely excellent. And I can totally see Kate going to her if Carole had already left. Great work!

I'm not a fan of Margo, but I think that, despite seeming cold and hard, she really loved Jack, and she would think that she was doing this for him - even if she thought that Jack would never know.

Boy, just when I was thinking that this was a really excellent fic, told well enough for me to actually feel involved with two characters that I really don't like, I read the last line and HOLY COW!, you knock me right into the stratosphere and creep me out at the same time!

I love fic that take sudden turns toward the creepy, and this one certainly did. *shivers and turns on the light*

Oh this is such a nice concept. I love the idea of Kate leaving Aaron with Margo. You did a wonderful job with this and I just loved that last line.

I like the idea of Kate taking Aaron to Margo. It definitely would keep her from having to tell the truth to Carole, which seemed like something Kate wouldn't actually do.

Aaron's enlarged family is kind of dysfunctional - but it's an interesting one, imo.
