Lost 4x06 - The other woman
and then Claire shouted "Don't you dare try using Charlie's death to manipulate me!".
...yeah. Right.
Instead, Claire's scene with Locke was the worst one in the episode. Not believable, not an ounce of feeling in it. It just felt... off.
Moving on, below are my impression, as noted down in chronological order. I liked this episode, even if it was kind of flat after the last one.
1. Ben showing Juliet the house made me lol. For a man so cerebral, he surely had a good long look at her ass.
2. I liked that Charlotte was kind to Dan. He must have such a crush on her. I love Dan more and more.
3. Kate... *shakes head sadly* You clearly suspected something was wrong, you know that Dan can't lie to save his life, yet you turned your back on Charlotte? You really should know better.
4. The (first) Jack and Juliet scene? Great! I loved her saying "It's stressful being an other". lol! I was expecting at least a smirk from Jack at that... he must have been busy trekking around the jungle.
And I absolutely loved Jack's snarky comeback "Yes, you've read them all in my file". It was such an intrusion in his privacy, it was only right that he still felt slightly angry and upset about it. Even if it wasn't Juliet's fault, I think that answer was called for.
5. I think Juliet's fb was kind of pointless. The only "new" thing I learned is that she's not one of the O6, imo, otherwise she would have had a FF. The FB showed us only things we'd already known or guessed, and left me... meh. Ok, so Ben thinks that she's "his", and she looks like Annie. Not very interesting, imo.
6. Ben is a prisoner and still pwns Locke, completely. Ben, you bastard, I love you so.
7. Widmore!! The auction shown last week is suddenly more important than it seemed, and whoever said that the freighters knew about Widmore, if not Penny, was right. Good call!
8. I loved that Jack called Kate on her lack of communication with him. He has really learned from experience. Then she lied (well, technically, she omitted things), but that's another story.
9. The kiss. I was surprised to find myself jumping on my seat and whispering "come on Jack, kiss her kiss her kiss her"! I'm so glad he did. Up to know, I was kind of worried that Jack only accepted Juliet's attentions out of a misplaced sense of kinship and kindness. But I loved the kiss. Even though, tptb should really show us a real kiss or, even better, some sexin' with Jack. OH, and he had such a sweet expression when she told him she had feelings for him. He really needed to hear that from someone.
10. Non much of Sawyer, again. But at least he was pretty. :)
Ok, that's all. Since Lost has become more self-explaining, my reviews has gotten shorter. Less things to whine about, that's good. And still a lot of food for thought.
