House MD recs!
It's been a while since I wrote a rec post...time to correct that!
1. Smooth by nakeno and recrudescence (H/W, NC-17, 11.000 words).
I find this very hot. Includes mild crossdressing.
I love how these two writers write, they have a very original imagery and vocabulary. If you like how they write, check their writing journal: open_24_hours
2. Another fic of theirs I particularly love is Lit (H/W, NC-17, 5000 words, pre-infarction PWP).
3. This is the fic index of starlingthefool, where you can find the links for, among other fics, "For every closed door" (H/W, R, looong), which has a squicky premise (House's death) but it istn't a sad fic.
4. From the same author, I recommend also Love is a battlefield (H/W, R, 11.000 words).
This is like a chick flick, but in a good way… and since I'm a sap, I loved it. Includes karaoke. :)
5. Shakedown by lana_ftw (R, multi-parter, links goes to the last part, previous parts linked in the header).
For once, Wilson is the jealous one, and House has a boyfriend. But you know how this will end...
6. Riding lessons (PG, 1670 words) and Take me for a ride (NC-17, 3000 words), both by l57371, are two sexy pieces that include House’s motorbike.
7. And then, an older and different fic, which I discovered only recently: Letters of transit by nightdog_barks (PG-13, multi-parter, link goes to the last part, previous parts linked in the header).
8. Finally, In for a pound by deelaundry (SGA crossover, H/W/Sheppard/McKay, 23900 words, NC-17).
This was a delightful discovery… it’s a SGA crossover, but don’t let that scare you - I know nothing about SGA and I still enjoyed it immensely. It’s, mostly, amazing sex (including foursomes!!) and, for the rest, brilliant dialogue and flawless characterization.
