Here are my thoughts. Spoilers, of course.

Ditto to all your points there, especially #5 about the constant because that was my thought too, or that he's immortal like Richard! ;) And with regards to #3, I really hope some of the J/S writers run with that possibility!!! ;)

As for the J/S I do hope so, too!
And it's been so long since they had a scene together, I hope next week they are going to have at least a few seconds!

I'm now thinking that maybe Richard isn't immortal, after all, but simply time-traveling, too. (and that would explain Mikhail's multiple resurrections as well).

for Lost, I agree with you on every single point. yes. but I had not thought about Widmore being Ben's constant, that is a GREAT idea! it could be! (would that mean that Widmore was on the island at one point though? oh no, now I am over-thinking and I am all lost again... shoo. but that's a great idea, lots of food for though.)

I don't understand what you mean about the too self-referencial bit about Supernatural... that they brought back characters from S1? I never really watched more than 5 minutes of Ghost Hunters, but it was clearly a spoof of that, with the unsteady camera and all. Not everyone liked it, but frankly I didn't care we had less Sam and Dean than usual, I was too busy LMAO! =D

mmm... I might have used the wrong word about SPN (lol, maybe self-referential is not even a word. ;) )
What I meant was... a bit too many "inside jokes": the mention of the writers' strike, the whole idea of a Supernatural Tv shows inside what IS, after all, a supernatural Tv show...
I like a bit of meta in the shows, but this was a bit too much for my taste. I didn't know it was a spoof of a real show, but then this only reinforces my idea of it being a sort of private joke...
Not that it wasn't enjoyable, it's only that with all the angst that was going on this was kind of unexpected and felt somehow off, to me.
However it was fun at times (the garage door, as I said in your LJ, made me lol) and it's always entertaining in any case. I was even sorry for the poor guy in the end.
:)

oh there are a couple of those paranormal shows... there is a british one, an american one at least (maybe even 2 or 3 but I don't watch them, so I am not ever sure). they are fairly popular and they've been going on for years and do have a cult following of geeks. probably they are not exported much (although Ghost Hunters is shown in England at least, because I know it's one of Lynn's favorite show)so that's probably why you didn't knew about them.

see, I didn't seen even one hint of meta in that episode (a nod to the strike, yes, but I found it just funny), that's why your comment surprised me.

It was a funny stand alone episode though and you are not alone that thought it was out of place with only 4 episodes remaining. I think it was planned for a while though, and with the last 3 that will be all about angst and man pain, it didn't bother me. in fact, I've always had a special love for the funny ones ;)

I guess that it just rubbed me the wrong way, sometimes it happens. *shrugs*
That doesn't mean that I didn't enjoy it, but I like the angsty episodes more. :)

I have much love for your Constant theory about Widmore and Ben. I wondered if he time travelled to 2005 on purpose to recruit Sayid or did he just take advantage of the situation, either way, he is pure evil to play with Sayid's grief that way.

Ben is such a master manipulator, of course he would use Sayid's grief to suit his purposes. I think he went there on purpose, but it works either way.

My Ben/Widmore constant theory is so wacky that it's almost realistic for Lost. lol. I'm proud of it, though. ;)

Uhm, that review suggests me that I should probably take back Grey's. We'll see.

Lost:

1) Danielle's death was just idiotic. But I guess that if they wanted Alex off they had to have Danielle off. *sigh*

2) Quoted. And he's totally behind Nadia, IMHO.

3) Oh Sawyer. Oh Sawyer. ♥ Now I remember why I love you so. And he's so going to take care of Jack. I hope, at least! We need slash fodder, damnit.

5) Psssss, they were lovers when they went at school together in the good old Dharma days... ;)

6) Quoted. Please disappear somewhere. Please. Just please.

7) Agreed.

8) LOL asking him questions is really not a good idea.

9) And I also like that he always calls Hurley "Hugo" now, while Hurley - his best friend, remember - calls him "Sawyer". I like that Hurley respects Sawyer's desire to be called like that, at least untile Sawyer says him something different.

QUOTED. I hate this thing that they call him all James. Did he authorize them? No. Then WHY? Thanks Hurley, we love you so.

Mark is making me like Grey's a lot more, this season. And he's really eye candy, so I am really enjoying him. :)
He also helps in making me like Derek more, as well - with him, Derek is more relaxed and less a stick-in-the-ass kind of guy and I like that. If you have some time, you could try it again, it's been a good season so far, despite the sad lacking of Addison, whom I loved.

You are probably right about Danielle's death being necessary for set up Alex's kidnapping. Still, it sucks.

On the whole James/Sawyer topic, while I agree that Sawyer has changed and is now probably more "James" than "Sawyer", what I don't like is the fact that they started using his name when he had given them a different one. That's not the right behaviour, imo. And therefore, I love Hurley for respecting that.
Plus, both Sawyer and Hurley have been so heroic in this episode. Aw. *hugs them*
