Lost finale!
Writing before reading anyone else's.
1. 5 seconds in and I was already "OMG!". And they kept that scene secret for a whole year. Because, dude, I may be totally mistaken, but it really looked like it was shot all together, and not added later.
2. Butch Cassidy and Sundance Kid reference! Omg, Sawyer, you love Jack so.
3. bellyaching!Jack looked so good running in the jungle - is that wrong? *drools*
4. Hurley (Hugo? I'm guessing I should get used to call him that) looked so happy to see Sawyer. Aw, they are so BFF. (He looked less happy to see Jack, and I don't get why)
5. yay for Desmond being kickass about the explosive - even if, in the end, useless.
6. I'm so, so happy that Jack ignored Locke and went back with Hurley and Sawyer. Yes, in the end, as if often happens for a twist of fate, Locke was right and this thing is eating him alive, but it was still such a good, heartwarming decision.
7. This got me thinking... what was Jack in particular supposed to do on the island? Was inthekeyofd right all along? (Honestly, hon, I hope not!)
8. Kate saving Ben had me going ?? for a while until I knew about the agreement.
9. Sayid was awesome. I loved the fighting scene. Generally speaking, this episode was packed with action and I liked that.
Btw, anyone saw hints at Sayid/Kate here? Maybe not.
10. Lots of answer in this episode, and it turned out that a lot of things were exactly how fandom said. But still, interesting. Like the lying to protect everyone part.
11. Locke asking Jack to stay was like a crazy crack!fic. lol. And then Ben saying "Am I interrupting?" and proceeding to own Locke as usual was hilarious. I should really stop saying how much I love the evil bastard but really... he is a great character, played by a great actor.
12. Get back here, Charlotte? WOW. This was unexpected. And interesting. So, she was born there? Or what?
13. Ok, so a nice way to spare us Locke is to put him in front of a TV, while "dad" does his serious things. Also, anyone knows what Casimir effect is?
and "time-traveling bunnies"? LOL.
14. OMG. SAWYER!!! *brokes down in tears* later, when I saw him on the beach, I was actually glad that they had him do his great heroic gesture (because I so knew there was going to be one) without having him die. *releases breath*
That was, however, SO. AWESOME.
15. Keamy was a real beast. And Ben too.
16. What if Daniel and Jack team up together to find the island again? And, btw, what happened to Dan and the people on the small rubberboat? Who was Sun referring to when she said that other people came back?
17. "Paranoia keeps me alive". Oh, Sayid. ♥ I had hoped he could fix the bomb for a split second, but in the back of my mind I've always known the freighter was going to blow up.
18. Jack wanting to get kate on the chopper and safe - I get it. But leaving Jin behind? Such not a Jack thing to do. I'm a little upset about that, actually. Does his love for Kate make him so blind to his other morals? It's... weird, and unexpected, and heartbreaking.
19. Incredibly awesome scene of Sun's grief. And I loved that Sayid told her that he was sorry (he was the only one though).
20. Juliet is... desperate and yet still holding herself together. I'm so glad that Sawyer and Juliet are together now. They are a great team. Plus, shirtless!wet!Sawyer, yum!
21. Ben made Locke's life miserable? What is he referring to? I don't think he was only talking about the island...
22. ah, of course. Ben moves the island with his hands. Sorry but... LOL.
23. they had life vests? And why didn't they give one to Saywer? Thank you, montage guy, for showing Sawyer alive on the island before showing the life vests.
24. I was so, so worried for Frank and Desmond - remember the two who died? Instead, Jack saved Desmond. For a moment, I even forgot that Jack was a doctor! How long since he used his doctorly skills on the island...
25. WTF happened to Emilie deRavin? Is she pregnant? She looked way heavier than she was.
26. It looked like a crazy deja vu from both S2 (the failsafe) and s1 (the boat approaching), don't you think?
27. PENNY! I was so not expecting that. I cried again, but these were happy tears. I'm so, so glad Desmond had his happy ending at last! I hope we'll still see him in the next series, but if not, I'm happy anyway.
28. Locke in the coffin! This was one of the most popular theories and it looked like fandom was right. I can't say I'm sorry, I just wonder what was he doing off island. and the idea to get his body back as well is just creepy. Ew. Plus, Jack, you should know by now you shouldn't trust Ben... *sighs*
