Oh, this is perfect. I don't know what I love the most: the image of Sawyer carrying the guitar rather than the rifle or Charlie waving Vincent away, in Sawyer's direction.

There's so much character insight here, like how Sawyer learned to play guitar, how he doesn't want an audience, all the good memories associated with that clearing, the place in the island where he really started to accept he could become somebody else.

Love it!

I couldn't have said it better, but yeah, that scene was a crucial point in Sawyer's growth. That's why I love it so much (plus, it was about Jack, too, and my slasher heart was even happier).

Oh, I loved it! Apart from the LOVELY inspiration you had *digs out related icon*, this was all beautiful. The character study with Sawyer was done excellently and the way he acts here is so IC and delicately handled. The humor bits were lovely, and how you connected his playing with his life before the island was just seamless. And of course much love for Vincent, for ghost!Charlie who evidently always knows better and for my bad stealing titles habits that start to rub on people! ;)

This was really sweet. The details were great such as the guitar being Tom's. I chuckled at the idea of Sawyer playing in Ben's secret room, before settling in the clearing. Pairing him with Vincent was a lovely way to end things!

To tell the truth, I intended the guitar to be Charlie's but I couldn't get the timing right enough for Tom to steal it before dying, so I just sort of assumed that ghost!Charlie put it in Tom's house for Sawyer to find it - in order to find Vincent and a bit of comfort. (supernatural is just so useful to dig myself out of plotholes. lol)

But it was a bit tortuous and I didn't think enough about it, as it shows. ;)
