oh i really enjoyed haunted. it was fuuuuckkked. but i am about to finish "nowhere man" a book about the last five years of john lennon's life. it's really awesome. i recommend it

I don't know if I would recommend reading Haunted. I actually read several chapters and then put it down because I just didn't think it was well written. I think Invisible Monsters is his best work by far. Or if you like Tom Robbins, Still Life with Woodpecker is AMAZING. One of my favorite books ever.

have you read running with scissors? its one of my top ten favorite books, maybe. its so fucked up and so good.
did you end up likeing hocus pocus?

I loved Running With Scissors! I read it when I was 15 or 16.. first Augusten Burroughs book.
Hocus Pocus turned out good in the end.. but it was a lot of war babble to get through. It wasn't as good as I expected.

yeah i got bored a few times in the middle of hocus pocus. bu the end of the book though, i was really impressed. i really want you to read cats cradle and sirens of titan. so far welcome to the monkey house is pretty good.
