Seems a very dodgy definition of "gamer", though, to be honest, with a 50% chance of including "tolerating someone's Playstation at Christmas", depending on when the poll was taken. Which would include lots of non-gamers I know, and surely count for more than 59% of people in the UK.

Seems a bit like saying that 59% of Britons are vegetarian because they hadn't eaten meat within the past 24 hours, when polled.

BLAH. I am not a gamer just because I own Katamari Damacy or play Yahtzee and Ancient Empires on my cellphone. (I *wish* I had the mad-1337 hand-eye coordination to be a gamer; alas, difficult controllers are my downfall.)
