She wants to be comfortable and in clothing that prepares her for what's about to take place, but she's also been trained to look her best in any situation. Sirius ends up using the Nexus to try and locate Thea's timeline and home, finally appearing outside the front door and knocking. After all, it's quite rude to simply apparate into someone's house and he wasn't sure if they were connected to the Floo network.

Thea goes to open the door and lets him in. The living quarters are empty at the moment, everyone off doing their own thing. She smiles at Sirius. "Hello. Thank you for coming."

"Hey, Thea. Don't mention it." He strolls in, looking around politely. "So, do we have a place to practise?"

"I don't know...we could use in here," - she gestures to the room they're in, where Reed tests his experiments, the same room the had tried to build the cosmic storm in - "but I don't know if it would cause any harm to Reed's experiments. Or we could try my room."
