Starting to get a bit of a roll on the March challenge fic now, just one problem - I have no idea why the baddie is doing what he is doing.

I love idea of Don getting hypothermia in the middle of the summer in California! The idea how and why: great!
I love that you let Don be found by someoneelse than his team! I really liked that part! :)
Thank you for this fic!

I love how you ended this and that you didn't have any of Don's team there, it's often just a little too convenient when that happens, especially that far outside of LA.
The bit at the end about the frostbite in LA was fantastic, they're never gonna let him live that one down, are they?

Exactly. Don's team never came into it, it just didn't make any sense. He'd sent them home ready for all the work they had scheduled the next day so they were unavailable as backup. He had to rely on police and whatever agents happened to be on duty and closest the scene when the call for urgent assistance went out. Pure logic.
Only Don could manage that little effort. I don't blame Charlie for refusing to calculate the odds. I can see him in the running for the award for 'the most improbable thing to happen to an agent - 2010' at the staff Christmas party.

Ooo!!! You really should write that now, that little scene you mentioned... come on, you know you want to. Teasing Don about the situation you've put him in. The agent presenting it can even say that it's the first time for it to have happened to an agent from that office in the summer!
