Since I need some inspiration to get back into writing I thought I’d give the WIP meme a go.

Ooh, I liked the start of number 5. Don whump right from the start and it looks like Don is stranded alone in the woods. Did he separate from his partner and fell and now he'll have to find his way to help, while avoiding the bad guy? (or are they looking for a missing kid?) I would love to see more of that one for sure:-)

Also number 7 seems interesting. And is it wrong that I laughed out loud at number 9?

Number 5 - Don gets separated from the ranger, the ranger fell. Avoid the bad guy? Not so much, hence the sore head....

Number 7 - not a case investigation just an incident he's stumbled into at CalSci. I love the interaction between Don and the other person but don't know where I can take it past where it's stalled.

Number 9 - no, not wrong. It is funny. I just have the few lines, no story idea at this point so this probably won't go anywhere or will get merged into something else.

Number 4 - no surprise there. The title for the fic is "Rogue", but you already guessed the general tone, right? But if this were to be written as planned it would be a long, case based fic. Don't know that I'll be able to get to that any time soon the way things have been lately. If I were to do your trick and post the scene it would be far too open ended I think to stand on its own. Bummer.

Number 5 - this one can easily be adapted to the hurt_don prompt of national park and rifle and has a dangerous (not my usual 'good') bad guy for Don to escape from.

Number 6 - another hurt_don prompt motorcycle and highway where after being hurt in a crash things just go from bad to worse ( ... )

I get the whole being obsessed with a series thing, I usually watch in chunks and then go cold turkey waiting for the next DVD set...
