As this past year has gone by, every now and again, thoughts I once had, wrote about, joked about, have been brought to my attention, but by a complete stranger.  This stranger and I have met once, but never got to discuss ideas, thoughts, beliefs.  We barely discussed much outside of "I really enjoy your writing, can I help you with anything?".

I think that while it's true people might not really have original thoughts, what is more important than thinking something important is realizing that what you are thinking is important. And of course there is always room for novel concepts. As little as 50 years ago the concept of a world wide internet, "online journals" etc was completely novel even though the idea of networked computers might not have been. You have to look for opportunities to think originally and they will come.

On an unrelated note, you asked about the human heart and its texture a little while ago. When the heart is wrapped in its fatty protective layer (known as the pericardium) it does indeed have a texture similar to turkey breast, but the muscular portion of the heart just sorta feels like a muscle. Although that is after preservation, so I'm not entirely sure about the texture of a "fresh" human heart. I hope that answers your question!
