This was such a wonderful weekend!

HIGH POINTS:

• Flying to the event -- Meant leaving later (+), more sleep (++), and no dealings with traffic foo (+++)
• Delicious Mochatini's at the hotel restaurant -- YUM!!!  So much so that we ran them out of the chocolate liquors and vanilla vodka :->
• Visiting with Mad_Duchess and meeting the fabu Kaaren and Seaunn

I've never understood how unprepared restaurants in hotels are when we as a group arrive. Don't they do conventions on a semi regular basis?

Any chance of guilting Paul into fighting at Ursalmas? Vik and Inga are supposed to be there as well aren't they?

This time around the restaurant wasn't too badly prepared. I think it was more a matter of timing vs. schedule. They had some great buffets set out for each meal (although it was the ONLY thing available for breakfast Sa & Su) but the schedule for Saturday listed closing court as ending at 5pm and the next beginning at 6pm. Closing court ended just before 4:30 instead. Unfortunately the restaurant had the buffet set to open at 5:30 and the kitchen was not prepared for us to all descend before 5pm.

As for Ursalmas and Simon taking part... Not my place to say. Asking him to come out and play is up to you folks. Yes, Vik & Inga are expected to attend.
