One month and a day

I can't believe that Jasmine is a month old already. She's so big, she almost weighs 8 pounds already. She has chubby arms and legs now, and her tummy sticks out. Soon she will need a bigger diaper

omg! my kid is 15 days and weighs 8lbs 10 oz! he eats a lot! he's already working on 3 oz. of formula. the doc said i should offer him more than what he's been getting which was 2-2 1/2. we got some gas relief drops for infants, which seems to help. i barely use it tho, it doesn't seem natural or whatever, not for his age.

Yeah, everyone was saying how tiny she is :) She wouldn't fit preemie clothes, but she was only born two weeks early! I was reading that some babies are gassy because their digestive tract isn't fully developed, so I'm going to give it some time and see if she gets better, if she's not better by her next doctor's appt. (10/26) I'll ask the doctor.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. Sounds like you have your hands full with a new baby. I don't have any children yet (although I'm old enough!) so it's interesting to read about your experience. I love that you play a Korean language CD for your daughter. You're probably right that she won't get much out of it now but I say the sooner the better. Bilingualism is such a beautiful gift to give to a child.
