SUMMARY: Bertie Bott's new Valentine's bean flavours ignite an old flame in the Gryffindor Common Room. H/G, seventh year. Corniness and fluff ahead.

---------
Bertie Bott's and Comapny had released a new set of Every Flavour Beans for Valentine’s Day during Harry Potter’s seventh and final year at Hogwarts. The news had spread around the information-starved boarding school like wildfire, leaving speculation about the flavours in its wake.

The Trio had returned to school earlier that semester, after Ron had a harrowing run-in with a Giant and needed more medical attention than Hermione could provide whilst searching for Horcruxes.

Harry, as the Boy-Who-Lived, knew a few select individuals, had been secretly supplied with a box weeks before the release. He was currently in the Gryffindor Common Room with Ginny, where they were picking their way through it happily.

Pretending his Potions essay didn’t exist, Harry popped another bean in his mouth and chewed; flicking through the chart in front of him quickly, he scanned the print underneath the pink and white coloured bean. Confused, he voiced his thoughts aloud to her. “How do they get a bean to taste like cuddling?”

Ginny shrugged and looked up from her Charms homework. Flicking her ex-boyfriend on the shoulder, she stared at the box in his hands, liking her lips. “Give me a kiss.”

Harry looked over at her, but didn’t move to put his hand in the box. It was then that Ginny noticed he too was licking his lips, and that a few flakes of the cuddle-bean were still resting on the corner of his mouth. His green eyes darted downwards, and suddenly his lips were molded to hers in that wonderfully familiar way, his hands in her hair once more and her worksheets fluttering to the floor gracelessly.

He pushed her back against the couch, his Quidditch roughened hands on her shoulders, her waist, her thighs, and then diving back into her hair. Her eyes were shut, and she could feel the frame of his glasses cutting into her cheek, but couldn’t make her hands move upwards to remove them. She could taste the remains of multiple beans in his mouth, and they all mixed to make a strange combination of Harry and apple pie. This was her safe haven, her home; and if she could only have this again for this one moment, so be it.

Moments later, Harry pulled away, a blush appearing on his face and his lips swollen but grinning. He leaned down and pecked her on the lips again, looking to her for approval. Apparently he was taking back what he’d said before the Headmaster’s funeral, and Ginny wasn’t necessarily complaining.

That didn’t mean she wasn’t going to tease him a bit though.

Grinning, she reached around and snatched the rainbow striped box from his side. Slipping a bright red bean into her mouth, and knowing it didn’t come close to comparing to the real thing, she looked up at him again. “I meant the bean, Harry, but that’ll do just fine in the future. Now come here.” No more beans were eaten for some time.
