JOB!!!!

I got the orchestra job in Holland!! I will be teaching 6th-12th grade strings and two choirs at Black River Public School, a gorgeous public charter school in Holland, MI. The position is filling a maternity leave, so it's not permanent, but it's mine from March-May and possibly until the end of the year

Congradulations I am so happy for you. I hope that you love it up there. Holland is a pretty place. Hopefully you wont have to deal with too much lake affect snow. Good Luck and Congratulations again.

I just looked at the website for that school, and it sounds like a really cool place to teach.

Come late April, once I move and the spring semester starts, I may very well have a car. Maybe Chas and I will come visit you.

I would love that. I'm also looking at a 2-bedroom apartment, so I should have plenty of space to host people. I'm just happy to be living on my own, I don't have to worry about sharing a place with strangers, I have my own space! How did that "incident" at your coop end up working out?

Oh, the drama died down a little bit. Everyone's being nicer to the asshole house president because he announced that his girlfriend is pregnant and they're keeping the baby. But Chas and I are moving to another house in April. It's a much cleaner house. Definitely a hippie house.

Also, Holland may be "Conservative," but there's something about people who practically worship tulips and wooden shoes that is a bit odd for conservatism.
