Poszłam obejrzeć insekty
Come on , where are you running, entry’s in English, I just think “I went to see insects” reads funnier in Polish. ^^
Obviously, it’s buzzing and crawling with spoilers for “Ant-Man and the Wasp”.
In general, much as the first one, nice fun, though nothing to be crazy about. That’s why I’m bringing only a bunch of random notions:
# Uh, does it mean he hasn’t been washing this leg for two years?
# Comic book science is strong with this one. Scott is right, they DO add quantum to every noun...
# I’m pretty sure it’s not healthy for ants to be this size. How can they even breathe? Okay, I know, comic book science...
# It’s cute Hope keeps to the traffic laws even when driving a mini. XD
# So, a ghost with a spidery mask?
# I fully expect Hope having an army of wasps next time. Technically she already should have them, but okay, you need some options for development...
# Speaking of which, I’m disappointed there was no practice time for Hope, I mean, on the screen. We didn’t even get a good look at her wings! How is she moving them anyway? Unlike Scott, she gets a new body piece with her suit, after all.
# I KNEW Luis’ spiel is totally weaponizable! Or at least I feel like I should have known. :’)
# So I guess we have witnessed the debut of tardigrades on the big screen?
# Aw, it was the saddest little SPLASH when Scott falls in the ocean. The first one, of course, not the second, when he makes a tsunami.
# Am I the only who got suspiciously ominous vibes from Janet when she says about getting different, evolving, blah blah? From then on, every next second I expected her going Xenomorph queen, or something. Personality-wise, that is. And certainly I expected something... different? longer? more complicated? from her than healing Ava, just so.
# Speaking of which, in filming terms this piece just screamed the lack of better ideas, any ideas, and probably running out of screentime, too...
# Still, I’m glad Ava survived. And I’m glad she adds to the MCU trope (is that a trope? feels like one) of villains being spared and rather brought back to human proportions and then to justice, instead of demonized and gotten rid of.
# Whee, the drive-in with a laptop! ^^ I wonder if there were somebody also in the other cars?
# The second after-credit scene wasn’t really worth it...
