Apparently if you tell my husband that you're really not sure if you believe the whole Jesus thing, you have to sit through an hour long discussion/lecture where you are told a divorce is possible if faiths don't match.
He's fine now, obviously. It was just an interesting talk.

So I have to ask.. What do you mean by "the whole Jesus" thing? We talking existence? godhood? etc...

Oh, godhood. I guess I just kinda think religion is too complicated for an easy answer like "Jesus saves our souls!"

If it helps any, I consider the idea that people can say they comprehend the idea of God or some such as rather arrogant. If such an entity exists, I would think it would exist rather beyond our comprehension. Basically, the question if God exists or not, and what that means for us is irrelevant.

Either God understands the human condition, or he doesn't. And if he doesn't then he's not God.
