Author's Note: Okay, this was completely unplanning and I don't know why I'm writing it but I figured there should be a chaptered incest fic since I've never seen a Jalex one before. I never actually finish any chaptered fics I write which is why the chapter will probably be short, that way it'll be easier for me to actually bother with this.
On a different note, I saw Mayday Parade in Oxford on Tuesday. W o w, amazing night, and I met Derek afterwards which made me sob. Enjoy, and leave a comment!

The morning after hello, is only goodbye. That's it all it could be for them. Anything else was dangerous territory.
Alex glanced at Jack as he put on his pants. "Will I see you at the house?"
"Yeah, I'll be there." His voice was steady, unyielding as he threw his shirt over his head.
Alex slipped his boxers on and looked over at Jack. Their eyes met. The blonde smiled softly and glanced out the window. The sun had risen yet. Alex sighed.
"I want to kiss you," Jack said.
"Me too. It's better this way," he said.
"It's always better this way," Jack nodded.
Alex grabbed his discarded hoodie and slipped on his shoes. Jack walked slowly behind Alex toward the door. "Goodbye Jack."
Jack's eyes met his gaze. "Bye 'Lex."

Jack smiled when he walked into the Gaskarth house for breakfast. Alex smiled at his greeting to the family. "Hi," Jack said. He stopped next to Alex.
"Hi," Alex said. He grinned as Jack ruffled his hair. Jack squeezed his shoulders as they sat down at the table. They couldn't stay that way too long.
The family sat at the breakfast table and ate in a polite silence and pretend social conversation. Their eyes were focused on each other the whole meal.
"Goodbye," Jack whispered into his ear. "See you tonight."
Alex nodded in his arms before Jack left. Their next words would be hello. Then it would be this again, the morning after.
