Now, I'm not usually one to whine, but there is thing that is bothering me about the current state of local music in Marquette Michigan. This "hardcore" stuff is awful, it ruins shows. Not just for me. If I was the only one bothered by it, I wouldn't mention it. However, it's obvious that almost no one enjoys these lame-ass bands with ear-splitting

You're right, it does ruin shows. A show can have a good vibe then a hardcore band comes up and you see all these people leaving the room.. Half of the people I was with left the suicide machines show because the second band was hardcore and just sucked.
