From my experience, it takes some idea of how to play to be able to accurately criticize and interpret another artist's playing. Also, considering the amount of gigs Jerry has done sound for, I would think he knows what he's doing. The mix sounded good to me, as it seemed to vary well with each tune's dynamic, and the audience interaction gave it a personable charm that I think almost everyone enjoyed. Being that improvisation is a very emotional thing, which you may or may not be aware of, I was particularly offended when you suggested Kenny was trying to eat up time and draw things out during the Asian folksong medley. It was clear to me that he was really expressing ideas, pushing boundaries, and trying new things. Maybe you should have left if the clapping and singing was too much for you?
