Lovely, bittersweet but quite heart-warming in a slightly awkward, blokey kinda way :o) I've got to admit, the "everyone's blaming themselves" touch is unexpected but rings very true, and I absolutely love the echo (or reverse echo, really) to Gene's words about going to your boozer after a job in the final episode of A2A. I also wish for an epilogue (hint hint, nudge nudge!) because I'm a sucker for warm, fuzzy feelings, but it's entirely your call :o)

Well worth the wait, it's a beautiful two-parter :o]

They're such blokes, aren't they, trying to talk about 'feelings' :) I have no doubt that the team would take the loss of Sam very hard, despite what *some* of them may say. I always loved the line Gene has in A2A about learning from Sam, so he repeats Sam's words, which Sam uses because of what he's picked up from Gene. Wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey...

I might be tempted to do an epilogue (oh peer pressure) if I had any idea of what it would entail! Thanks for the comments!
