Dubai airport is clean, bright and very spangly, tackily proud of it's reputation as the richest destination in the Arab world. They have palms all along the concourse, rigged with fairy lights, and gold filigree on the roof. Lots of marble too, and big windows. I think that's what they had in mind with Milton Keynes shopping centre, but it works
