To disgracefully plagiarise from one of history's greatest orators -

You can hate all of the people some of the time
You can hate some of the people all of the time
But to hate all of the people all of the time...

Ah, but people who experience more than their fair share, by definition, are forming an opinion from an atypical and unrepresentative sample, and therefore, their opinion, though completely understandable, is flawed.

And though I cannot truthfully disagree with the observation that "People are Stupid" I must add that it does not neccessarily follow from this that "People being Stupid is a Bad Thing". Some stupidity is endearing.
