I don't mind links from facebook, but then I am less concerned about anonymity than many.

If I recall correctly, you can rename an LJ by giving LJ a small amount of money. But that might be years out of date

I don't link my FB identity and my LJ identity, but I know a lot of people do, and it doesn't stop me commenting on their posts (at least not any more than any other public post) - but as two distinct entities IYSWIM.
