I saw one paper that read "Ground Zero: New Orleans"

They had an entire week or so to prepare. The Tsunami victims had maybe 3 minutes and the victims of 911 didn't have that.

The media are such whores.

i know this doesn't address your black vs white point, which is deliciously entertaining, especially those those of us who have been to New Orleans and see how poor and, sadly, criminal the black population is there (i guess decades of slavery and bigotry will do that to a people), but:

i thought it was funny that this is being listed as the greatest tragedy to befell the American people in the history of their nation.
Um....Spanish flu, anyone? or howsabout the murdering of your aboriginal population?
americans gleefully prove to us over and over again how entertainly stupid they are.
