I stopped watching Grey's Anatomy soon after Katherine Heigl's last episode. I think my last episode was 6x15, the Richard and Ellis flashback episode, though I did later watch the Alex centric episode where his brother checks into Seattle Grace (all I could think about then was, "Izzie should be here for this!") and that heartbreaking moment in

I'm going to watch, but in all likelihood it'll be very un-invested watching (so downloading the episode and doing something else as I watch). I'm ngl, part of this is so if Izzie ever does come back I'll know what the hell is going on. XD Katherine Heigl said that Alex belongs with Izzie, so I'm not giving up hope that something might happen near the show's end. =)

Yeah, I've heard KH and Shonda say that Alex and Izzie belong together. I've also heard KH say things like she gets jealous when she sees Alex with some other woman, and while it's always great to hear that, part of me is like, "Well, come back! Then you won't have to see Alex with anyone else!"

As for not giving up hope that something might happen with A/I near the show's end, the other discussion questions I have deal with that, so I'll probably ask them in a new post because I'm curious about everyone's thoughts on that.

I don't remember when I quit watching, but it was shortly after Izzie left. I've lost track since then. And I won't watch again until she's back, and preferably without them ruining her character even more.

I didn't remember exactly when I stopped watching until I looked at an episode list, but yeah, it was shortly after Izzie's last ep. And I agree with not watching until she's back. As for them not ruining her character anymore, well, one can only hope, but they tend to ruin everyone eventually. I would like to say KH leaving ruined the character, but they started messing with Izzie long before that. If KH only comes back for an ep or a few there's a chance they won't have time to mess up the storyline, though.
