My heart totally breaks when I see Cuddy's holding Joy's hand and cried, Oh God, that's totally a heartbreaking moment, I so want to steal a baby and give her. ::bears hugs Cuddy::
And when she said "you son of bitch" to House? Those were the words I want to say to TPTB.
YES OMG! AND SHE BENDS OVER THE BABY! It reminded me of what House said about Cuddy going to the kids ward and tearing. But this time the tears HURT and MEAN SO MUCH MORE!
I would give her my baby to make her happy, really.
It was the anger in her voice. That just got to me. Took me aback for a moment because just before that he made her smile. They shared a quiet, personal smile. :D:D:D AND YES OMG TPTB PETOOOEY!
Yeah it was kind of predictable. But the emotions, oh my god they blew me away. Especially Lisas acting and her facial expressions. OMFG. I expected the baby to suvive (since we had the holding hands promo) and the birth mother to back out. But still it was the most amazing, emotionall and surprisng episode for me! ♥
"I don't know"
Oh my there was sooo much in that sentence! I need to watch it again and again, because it was simply beautiful and in that scene we really saw his heart and soul!
hey you! nice to see someone new on the journal. i don't usually public my entries but haha thought I'd share this one :D
YES IT WAS THE EMOTIONS THAT GOT ME! The way the emotions played out in waves and waves, up and down. Lisa has the best expressions. They're so slight but it makes a world of a difference.
I am going to watch that again in a bit too. TRYING to start my essay but I'm tooooo sleepy.
I expected the baby to live just because I was reminded that Lisa E. said that Cuddy would suffer and suffer some more. In my mind, it's worse to not get the baby because the birth mother backed out rather than because the baby didn't survive. Haha I'm weird.
Yes! You could hear the desperation in her voice and how she clung on to any straw that she could grab. I just wanted to hug her so much at that point.
"I don't know" I can't get over the way he says that. And he has that look on his face like everythings messed up in his head but yet it's all clear now, that everything he's ever done to Cuddy, with Cuddy makes sense. And she sees it too, feels it too and tries to move away from him slightly.
I think you JUST summed up what I love about that moment. I couldn't put my finger on it before, but yes - there was just that look on his face, like SOMETHING clicked. It was so lovely.
And LISA. OMG LISA WIPED THE FLOOR WITH MY SOUL.
That was just beautiful, how she stands there, dressed immaculately in her midnight blue jacket and skirt and her high heels, she's perfect, not a loser at all. But yet she is because she has everythg but at the same time nothing. I thought that was gorgeous, too. Dressed to the nines and her life, at the moment, has just been wrecked. Poor Cuddy.
heee!!! JACK AND KAREN!!! YOU KNOW HOW TO GRAB MY ATTENTION BB!
Anyway, back to our regular scheduled House analysis. Hee.
Hugh does the best looks. He really owns his character and gets better and better and BETTER! The whole show is just beautiful and I can't express how much I love it. How much it makes me want to cry at times thinking about the love I have for this show.
I am PROUD to be a fan!
YES OMG SHE JUST GRABS US AND LEAVES NOTHING BEHIND. But then she rejuvenates us with her beauty :D
Ah parallels :D I really hope she does try to get a baby though and not give up. I don't want her to give up. That is soooooo unlike her. She didn't get to where she was by giving up, know what i mean?
HAHAHAHA. THAT IS HOW I SNAG MY PREY. JACK AND KAREN PRETTIES. ♥
Hugh really does own his character. For that matter, Lisa owns her character. Any character that becomes TRULY magnetic (Karen Walker, Olivia Benson on SVU, Lisa Cuddy, etc. just to name a few) become that way because of how well the actor connects with the character. I find that so fascinating about the acting profession. I wish I had that kind of talent.
I really hope she does try to get a baby though and not give up. I don't want her to give up. That is soooooo unlike her. She didn't get to where she was by giving up, know what i mean? I so get what you mean. And when he was doing the whole "So you're just gonna give up? Just like you gave up on IVF?" speech, I TOTALLY thought he was going to pull out something from years ago she gave up on that the audience wouldn't have known about. Because I think sometimes some of the non-Huddy fans forget that they have this epic past that spans a good decade or two.

Word. And then even with all that, the way she tried so desperately to convince her that it was just hormones? Broke my heart.
