Considering how stagnant 3.5 has been over the last three years or so, I'm actually quite interested to see what 4e has to offer!

Meaningless bitching does need to stop, though.

I'll admit, I'm looking forward to looking 4th Ed over. I can't say, YES I'M GETTING IT! But I'm at least willing to see what it has to offer. I can say that I like what they did with Star Wars Saga Edition, so we'll see.

If the system is cleaned up, I'd be happy. 3.5 is starting to remind me of 2nd when there was tons and tons of broken class kits, only now they are prestigue classes.

However, change is scary. We've grown to love the Forgotten Realms, and we look at them the way we remember our childhood friends, perpetually six years old. We just don't want to picture them as methadone addicts. That said, I'll probably be more intrested in the background world fluff than the new system.

But, there is always the realization of the thousands of dollars we spent on gaming books for an old system we'll never play again that could have been spent reducing our credit card debt, or at least putting a new deck on the house. That can lead to a bit of grumpyness.
