So last Friday I went up to the school to see where I stood in terms of my SAP. It did not look good. Apparently I was mistaken as to how it works. Retaking failed or withdrawn classes doesn't override the SAP. It just counts as having taken a class. All I can say is FUCK! Thankfully that means I don't need to retake Stats and Probability. What exactly is SAP? Ferris probably has another name for the same scam.

It is standard of academic progress. Basically it's one of the ways that the government makes sure that you are progressing towards a degree and not just taking a ton of classes on the government's dime.

Well, take one or two classes at a time. I know it will take longer, but at least you should be able to afford it and since it will only be a class or two you should be able to get great grades, because you'll have the time to study.

finishing later is better than not at all. It is a serious bitch, but go for it anyway.

So true. Education sucks all around, though. Not just up in the college years. And the worst part of "educational reform", besides that fact that it isn't reforming anything, is that nobody has thought to ask the people in the situation, say all the kids struggling in college, what it is that needs to be reformed. I think that was a run-on sentence. It needs to be reformed, too.
