It's been a while since I've posted, and my postings are getting few and far between--my bad. Life had been a bit unsettled, but things are looking up again. My house sold on Tuesday and the check came yesterday. It should clear the bank sometime next week and we're rolling again. I talked to University admissions and got some feedback. Well, it's been a tough week. I got news from KU--not accepted. I'm trying to set up meeting with the Director of Graduate Studies in English so he can tell me how much I suck to my face and to see if there's anything I can do to help my chances for next year. Electric Six - Danger! High Voltage!
Ah, yes. It's funny that I had to come to Lawrence, Kansas to find Detroit disco-rockers Electric Six. They were here on Tuesday and will return back to the St. Andrew's on May 12th, so check them out! This video is just...a spectacular spectacular! My Life with a Dog
So the 'rents came and went for the week. It was nice to see them again, even if briefly. It does make me wonder how we lived together for more than 18 years though. The day they came someone left the back door open by accident and the dog ran away. Spring has Sprung a Leak
It's freakin' cold! Monday it was 80 and tonight its dropping down to 18. I can't handle the truth. My parents are coming for the week and should be here Saturday, so I'm cleaning the house. I've become very domestic: laundry, dinner, dusting, floors. I likely won't be posting over the next week with rents in town.
