Best Performance of the nite -> Melissa Etheridge with Joss Stone in a tribute to Janis Joplin. THAT WAS SOOOOOOOOOOO OFF DA HOOK !!!!!!

Best mistake of the nite -> John Mayer gettin' the 'Song of Year Award'. It's an OK song & I really Johnny - but it wasn't deserve.
"Jesus Walks" from Kanye should have gotten it.

Biggest & not so biggest surprise of the nite -> Ray Charles with a clean sweep [8 out of 8]. The Grammys always seem to recognize you when you have passed away.

>u>& that 11 minute opener was DA BOMB!!, could have been better - but what is more swweeter than hearin' Adam singin' "This Love" to the Black Eyed Peas's "Let Get it Started" or Los Lonely Boys singin' with Franz Ferdinand. Eve & Gwen Stefani were great too !!!

Also that benefit star-studded performance with Bono & Billie Joe Armstrong{from Green Day}, Alicia Keyes, Scott Wieland & Slash {from Velvet Revolver} with Tim McGraw & Norah Jones was AMAZING !!!!
