After a bad Christmas during which my friends were dropping like flies (one sudden death and two unrelated serious accidents, can you believe?), I rounded off the old year by succumbing to the 'flu on New Year's Eve. Thanks for the good wishes, Rocky. Health is improving slowly, but no sign of the diabolical weather changing for the better. I've given up the idea of travelling this week, so I will hopefully catch up with replying to emails in a few days.
