Thanks for all the thoughts and well wishes. So far Gimpy is doing ok. He came through the first night after surgery with few problems and was even strong enough to receive a visit from my parents for a few minutes. He was quite happy to have them visit as he was purring up a storm in spite of a bundle of tubes attached. The internal sutures
