I really enjoy the way you tackle political and social issues in your poems,

Once from the earth, humanity becomes estranged
And being is measured through what one buys.
The mistake we as human beings, in so many societies across so many eras, make again and again and again, and only ever seem to overcome at the (rare) individual level but never as a whole.

I'm glad you commented on this, and I agree that whatever this particular problem might break down to, it seems difficult to imagine how it might be overcome. At the collective level, because I do agree that it can be individually overcome. Perhaps the question would be, is it even possible to overcome. . . but I do think, yes, it is.
It would take some serious imagination on the part of many capable individuals, I reckon!
