As it turns out, I did help with the shake and bake. Raw chicken is gross. One of the pieces had a little bloody vein on it and all the pieces had that weird white thing that doesn't look at all edible

morningstar farms has some KICK ASS "chicken" nuggets. i haven't tried the veggie crumbs before, but now that you say they're worth it i might have to buy some...

i swear by the veggie crumbles. (also i've never been able to cook meat to save my life... i tried to make chicken parmesan for a stupid boy last year, and it took me several tries to get the chicken cooked all the way through.)
