Can't be got at like that, as it is on a tendon sheath pointed into the foot. I don't want broken bones if he tries that tactic. (laugh)

They can either aspirate it with a needle or open up the foot and take it out, and I am going to opt for the latter, since aspirating it has a 70% chance of reoccurence and I don't want to go through that twice.

I didn't know you could get ganglions on your feet. My mum has one on her hand. It went away when she accidentally slammed it in a drawer but it's started to come back again (though not as large). I didn't know it was a cyst either. There you go!

It's when the sheath around the tendon has a minor tear in one layer, and the fluid surrounding the tendon leaks out and forms a "bubble".
