Wow, I left this in my mail inbox to respond to, and it's been almost two months...
Anyhoo: I think I switched from astrophysics into music (specifically early music performance), and then into musicology and writing about music, with an interest in film. It's been a wild ride for the last ten years, since I started college.

How long has it been now since you left Holland? You were still there when I met you, and I thought that was so cool. :)
