I got a netbook today as a pre-birthday present. This came totally as a surprise - I have longed for one for half a year now, but I never thought I could have one anytime soon due to finances...

I called her "Hermione". She's sitting next to me, installing tons of software for over an hour now.

Jaay! Netbooks are great, I still love mine (it's called KI 007). But maybe you shouldn't install too much on it, though - they are not really designed to be run heavy-duty programs.

What will you be using it for? :)

It had an auto-install mode, so I'm still busy figuring out what to kick out again! ;)

I'll be using it mostly for writing (in the living room on the couch!) and Internet of course. But mostly writing. Once I deleted all the funny little games which help me procrastinating! :)
