Tea Time!

May 12, 2012 01:24

Hey guys! So I just finished the last of this delicious green tea given to me by the Korean. (Not The Korean, just our Korean. Ahaha we're so offensive.) Anyway, I'm looking for some new, delicious tea. I'd prefer not to go back to Lipton or even pre-packaged tea in general.

I've heard good things about Adagio, but I would like your opinions, dear ( Read more... )

TEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

I'm a sucker for Tazo. I love Refresh, Passion (very good sweetened, on ice), and Chai. I've had Stash teas before. Very good as well.

I HAVE A TEA CABINET.

HOLD THAT THOUGHT. IMMA GONNA SEND YOU TEAAAA.

TEAAAAAAAAAAA!

Oooo, I think I've had Tazo refresh before! At least, I think it was; it wasn't my house. Kinda minty, right?

Ahaha, why am I not surprised you have a tea cabinet? :D

Thank you for the input, Amber. <333

YES! It's minty. I love it iced. So refreshing. AHAHA.

It's a bit spare at the moment... I need to restock.

Any time :D

I usually don't drink iced tea. I will have to try this when the warm weather arrives. :D

I have some Adagio Teas (Mango, Strawberry, Vanilla, Oriental? I think) and I really like them. Tazo Passion is my favorite out of that line (especially chilled). I bought Tazo Apricot Vanilla White about two months ago and only tried it once (it's really good).

Barnes and Nobles (or at least mine does) carries Harney and Sons Fine Teas - the Peach Ginger Twist (black tea and my first favorite), Pomegranate Oolong, and Pan Asia (green tea with chrysanthemum) are the ones I've tried. I tend to gear towards oolong or jasmine teas with a hint of fruit flavor. Although I like Earl Gray from time to time.

If I have time, I brew the loose leaf kind :) If I am on my way to work, I'll use a tea sachet.

Ooo, another Tazo fan. :D I'll have to try them.

As for the loose leaf, time restraints is one of the reasons I haven't just switched over. But it sounds like you've found a nice compromise.

Thanks for the info, Hymn!

Tazo is definitely good.

When I went to visit that friend that hosted my birthday party in March, she gave me a loose leaf tea strainer thing that looks like this (well, the strainer part.... the handle is a linked chain). That's what I've been using to brew my Adagio tea. The Harney and Sons tea comes in tea sachets (which are tea bags made of not paper-like material)... the Tazo I get are tea bags.

Reading all of this tea stuff made me want tea. Just had a cup of Adagio Black Tea w/ Mango. Delicious!
