Ugh, you really should. I hate to sound like a commercial but its seriously a non-stop roller coaster. We probably sound like we're getting slaughtered to the neighbors (what with all the screaming).
And thank you! I put in a lot of thought to variation, though I think its a bit subtle now... once I add colors hopefully it will be less so <3
lol, beltsweater... you knew there had to be a tragic hat in his past
Oh, all those outfits are wonderful. The Shaman one... makes me laugh though. I want to see Luca forced to wear that. I think all of your sketches are really nice so it's no surprise to me that the two (colored) that you posted are great. I used to work all one one layer, but now I don't and sometimes I do think I should go back to that because my art looks cleaner, but I lose the color scheme.
Thank you XD Sadly Luca does not have shaman skills, so no horns on his back for him!
Yeah, one layer is great for painting but for clean work its all about the multiple-layers. I haven't done cell-shading in so long D: On the one hand it sucks to lose that cleanliness but on the other hand my comp is slow and one layer really helps to not kill my memory.
I think the thing that makes the sketches a bit easier is knowing all the keyboard shortcuts, to minimize all that mouse foolery. Otherwise it would take forever D:
Gosh, you make sketching look so easy, if I don't have lineart and separate layers for everything I'll spaz. I love all those clothing designs (I have such a thing for jacket things with belts!), especially the Shaman one. The beads, the antlers, it looks so cool!
Thanks XD Unfortunately I take sketching a bit too lightly, I make a lot of anatomy errors at that stage. Oh well D: Glad you liked the antlers, they're one of my favorite bits <#
