In Stranger than Fiction, I noticed that the wrist watch, though very small and seemingly unimportant, held a very large role in the film. The more I think about the meaning and purpose of the watch the more interested I become. At the beginning of the film, Harold is so dependent on the watch. i agree, we get so busy with life that its nice to get some free time to not worry about anything

I also think we all get too caught up in our daily activities. We feel the need to accomplish things, for what, other than to satisfy ourselves? I know people say they care, but I don't think anyone cares as much as we do because we're the ones trying to define ourselves in everyones eyes. It's tough to just relax sometimes, but relaxation is much needed for all of us.
