While reading any type of literature, my note taking and marking method depends on the circumstance. When I read a textbook I usually use sticky notes to mark what I am reading. I typically put a sticky note on each paragraph and give a short gist of what I read. Whenever there are words I am not familiar with I find the definition and rewrite them

I think taking notes helps. I still notice myself rushing through at times, but i always just go back and read it a few more times to make sure I didn't miss anything because I always do!

I'm the same way with rereading! it is neat to find new things every time you read!!!
