Prom is now lame

Okay. So I decided not to go to prom. Caleb was pissed but, I think he'll live.

Not only is it too much money, it's just a waste of time. Although I have felt unusually happy for the past five days, I believe that I'd eventually become uncomfortable and want to leave.

So, there's no point.

Yeah, prom is so fucking expensive, and it really isn't worth the money. I went though, for the sake of tradition, I suppose.

I plan on going my senior year, no doubt. I'll feel more comfortable by then, hopefully.

I agree... it really isn't worth the money. But if you can find a way to get everything done cheap, it's sort of fun to take part in that tradition and see everyone all dressed up. But it's really not that big a deal though.
