The school library just got in a beautiful book called The Satyr in Art by Brian Thoms. It traces them, in both art and pop culture, all the way from Sophocles to modern day. I thought I might mention it in case you haven't see it. It was really lovely.

Life continues in its habit of keeping things interesting. A pair of witches of very high status - our High Priest and Priestess, in fact - are showing a very particular interest in Alice and I. Where this might lead is something that we'll need to think on, but it certainly opens many a heretofore locked door.
